I saw some flashes of what I expect the Braves to be all year last night. We have some guys that can really step up this year along with some pretty good defense. If the rest of the pitchers and Lowe can keep us in games, I think we have some offense everywhere in the lineup.

Cautiously optimistic- you?

Lowe looked phenomenal. Kochman looks good defensively as well.

How about Schafer? If he can consistantly get on base, he won't be at the bottom of the lineup for long.

We need increased production from most everyone in the line-up except McCann. He's been about the only really consistent on-base threat but he's slow as hell. He should provide a lot of RBIs if Johnson, Escobar, and Jones can open us up right.

Edit to say Chipper obviously had a great batting average last year, but with injuries, he's not very "consistent". We need him to stay in the lineup so Johnson and Escobar can get some decent pitches.

Yep to me it seems we live and die by our pitching.We have couple of good starters and if the others chime in we should be better than we have been in tow or three years.We can hit with anybody and our defense is not bad iether.My hope is Frechy comes back strong and nobody gets hurt especailly Chipper.I like this team.
