In my humble opinion, we are now one centerfielder away from the World Series, if everyone else at leasts maintains or continues in the right direction. Front office has to be looking for an athletic fielder who can produce at the plate. Ain't everybody?

Yeah, I agree with that. For whatever reason Nate McLouth doesn't seem to have it anymore. Would not be surprised to see Jordan Schafer in centerfielder by the 4th of July. Equally as good an outfielder so no loss there and what would we have to lose?

Yea, didn't mean to pick on MacClouth. He could start for a lot of teams, at least as back-up for most anybody. JayHey looks like a centerfielder to me, by the way, though Bobby knows what he's doing. Put Ross in right! (half a smile)

Hadn't thought of Heyward as a centerfielder but you are right, he would be great in that position with his speed and insticts. If Frenchy could've hit you'd have a helluva defensive outfield with him in right and JHey in center.

One of the best center fielders in my opinion that can hit for a great bit of power and has speed is Adam Jones with the Orioles. I don't think the Orioles have any plans to move him though.
