BRAVES FINALIZE TALENT FOR PRE AND POST GAME BROADCASTS

The Atlanta Braves and Dickey Broadcasting Company have finalized the incredible lineups for both the pre and post-game radio shows on the Braves Radio Network.  Former Braves Tom Glavine, Mark Lemke and Leo Mazzone will join veteran broadcasters Buck Belue, Chuck Dowdle and Mike Morgan on the broadcast that will air on WCNN 680 the Fan and WNNX Rock 100.5 and approximately 150 radio stations throughout the Southeast.

Buck Belue, will once again play quarterback as he leads the pregame team.  The former quarterback for the University of Georgia, who is one half of the popular Buck and Kincade show on 680 the Fan, will be joined by former Braves second baseman, Mark Lemke, part of the Braves five World Series appearances in the ‘90s and former Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone.

Rounding out this incredible lineup of talent will be the recently retired and future Hall of Famer Tom Glavine, who will join the pregame show on a limited basis throughout the season.

Atlanta television broadcasting legend, Chuck Dowdle, who retired after 24 years as WSB-TV’s sports director in December, and who once was a member of the Braves grounds crew, will work the Braves post-game show with Mike Morgan.  Morgan is the television voice of the Carolina Panthers and calls college football, basketball and baseball for a variety of television outlets.  He is a new addition to the Atlanta community and will also call games for the Gwinnett Braves this season.

The pregame show will begin 75 minutes prior to the game’s first pitch and will feature expert analysis of that night’s game, lineups, stats, player interviews and a Bobby Cox segment.

With approximately 150 radio stations across the Southeast, the Braves Radio Network is the largest radio network affiliate in all major league sports.
